FAQ
Why should I work with a Franchise Consultant?
At no cost to you I will educate you about franchises and mentor and coach you through each step of the investigation process.
Is it really free to work with a Franchise Consultant?
Yes, our consulting services are free and no cost to our clients. We work with franchisors, licensing opportunities and existing franchise businesses for sale. All of these businesses use our services to help find qualified and educated buyers. Like how an employer pays an Executive Placement Service for finding the right candidates, Franchisors pay Franchise Consultants directly for helping them find the best Franchisees (you) for their brands.
Why should I pursue a Franchise as opposed to starting my own business?
Unless you have a lot of knowledge and experience in a specific industry or business, your chances of succeeding with a franchise are much greater. A franchise business model is turnkey with a proven track record and system. You will be fully trained on every aspect of the business and provided with the infrastructure and support needed to succeed.
I have a successful business model and would like to explore franchising my business. Can a Franchise Consultant coach me through the process of setting up my business as a Franchise?
Yes, as a member of International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG) we have access to many resources and work directly with several vendor members that offer turnkey services to clients to help them set up their business as a franchised business model. As a Franchise Consultant we coach and mentor our clients through every step of this process as well.
How do people typically fund a new franchise business?
Personal assets in savings and investments that can be leveraged is one option. 401K/IRA funds are often used without paying taxes and penalty fees through a program called Roll Over for Business Startups (ROBS). In some cases, home equity can be used for business startup expenses.
Is it easy to get a loan?
No not easy but if you have a good credit score SBA and other loans can be an option to finance your business. We work with 3rd party financial vendors and will make introductions so that you can talk through all financing options available to you and make an educated decision on which financing option best suits your needs.
